Rain Gardens
Rain gardens are landscaped areas planted with trees, shrubs and perennials that soak up rain water, mainly from the roof of a house and the driveway. Rain gardens allow a home owner to make a small contribution toward reducing storm water runoff and increasing water quality in their neighborhood.
