About Me

Carreen D. Wright has been designing residential gardens in the Mid Atlantic and New England regions since 2002. Carreen customizes each design to her client’s personal goals, space and budget to develop unique and integrated gardens with seasonal interest. She has designed gardens for The Merion Tribute House in Merion, PA in partnership with landscape architect Simone Collins as well as the foundation planting for Oakbourne Mansion in Westtown, PA. Carreen has also designed garden spaces for two Vassar Show House & Gardens and window boxes/planters for Arrowroot in Paoli and Bryn Mawr and Club LaMaison in Devon.

Carreen is a graduate of the Barnes Arboretum School’s 3-year horticultural and design program and has completed Longwood Garden’s Horticultural Certificate I and II program. She is currently working on Longwood Garden’s Garden Design Certificate. Carreen is a member of Association of Professional Landscape Designers and The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Prior professional experience includes 20 years in healthcare marketing, a M.B.A. from The Wharton School and a B.A. from Vassar College.
